Did you know that Simge Bilir Kurt from Nolte Home Studio Izmir team and Hanzade Güngören, the founder of HNZD design, partnered and launched the first Smeg store in Izmir?
As Tasarımca Design Office family, we attended the opening of the Smeg store in the Alsancak district of İzmir, On November 2, 2019. With the special invitation of Simge Bilir Kurt, who is a solution partner in the kitchen in our projects for a long time, and with the special invitation of Hanzade Güngören, the founder of Hanzade Güngören, we decided to propose to our employers in our projects by seeing special collections and various small home appliances closely.
The Smeg brand is an Italian home appliance manufacturer. Smeg, whose name comes from the abbreviation of Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla, was founded in Guastalla town in Reggio Emilia, Italy in 1948, and has provided the company to create partnerships with famous architects for nearly 60 years as a delicious and elegant solution of modern life. Smeg strives to reflect the characteristic features of the Italian design style, the heart of architecture, namely, "creative elegance, originality and product quality."
